Discord is the premiere communications service for gamers. Its recent explosion in popularity has led to its adoption by other non-gaming communities as well. Many brands and companies have their own official Discord servers as well. If you're interested in penetrating every social media sphere, Discord seems to provide a new frontier.The service I offer is very flexible, as Discord is radically different from other social media platforms, like Facebook. For instance, the Discord bot could act as an automatic moderator for your server, kicking/banning users who repeatedly break the rules. The bot could act as a customer service representative, listening in the text chat for common key-phrases that trigger an automated, helpful response. Or, the bot could provide a user interface to an API, or other software. I'm currently developing a role-playing game that uses Discord as a player interface, allowing them to maintain a persistent character and move around the game world through text commands. The sky's the limit with what a bot can do.
